Raleigh “Billy” Greene
Raleigh “Billy” Greene is a third-generation attorney and native Floridian, having been born and raised in St. Petersburg. He and his wife, Megan, both attended St. Petersburg High School and the University of Florida for undergraduate and law school. They now live in northeast St. Petersburg with their two children, Raleigh & Marlowe.
Mr. Greene is a principal within Greene & Greene, along with his law partners Megan and father, Raleigh “Lee” Greene. Prior to joining Greene & Greene, Mr. Greene worked as a Clerk for the Honorable Jack Day, and subsequently as litigation counsel for Baskin Fleece in Clearwater. Mr. Greene’s practice primarily focuses on family law (both litigation and collaborative divorce), trust & estate litigation and fiduciary litigation. Mr. Greene has been recognized as an AV rated lawyer by Martindale Hubbell, the highest designation bestowed for practicing attorneys. Mr. Greene has been awarded the Canakaris Family Law Inn of Court “Young Lawyer of the Year” award and subsequently the “John C. Lenderman Award for Excellence in Family Law. He was bestowed the Distinguished Citizen Award by Boy Scouts of America for his community and philanthropic contributions. Mr. Greene has been designated by Super Lawyers and Best Lawyers. Mr. Greene has also served multiple stints on the St. Petersburg Bar Association’s Executive Board, along with previously chairing the local Florida Bar’s Grievance Committee.
Mr. Greene also remains active within the community, wherein he maintains several civic, charitable and/or social associations with numerous community organizations. Beginning in 2022, Mr. Greene served a two year term as the Board Chair for the YMCA of Greater St. Petersburg, spearheading a joint development project with the Pinellas County School Board to open the Speer YMCA in conjunction with Mangrove Bay Middle School in northeast St. Petersburg. His other community involvement and speaking engagements have included the St. Pete, Clearwater and Hillsborough Bar Associations, the Canakaris and Penick Inns of Court, the University of Florida Alumni Association, the Levin College of Law at the University of Florida, the St. Petersburg Chamber of Commerce, All Children’s Hospital, the St. Pete Yacht Club and the St. Pete Dragon Club.
